This is my "Time" submission for March for Self-portraits as art rather than history. It represent time because of the old-time ceramic tiles and the "aged' sepaia treatment.

Time: Visiting my Mother at the Nursing Home

Today is the last ay of the time series. I wanted to do some more artistic ones, but I just didn't have time--LOL

I'd like to talk about self-portraits as history and self portraits as art, but I don't have time right now. Time, arghhh! Wish it were endlessly expandable.

My mom is in the nursing home because she had a brain tumor. I send a lot of time visitng her. I've just learned that I too have a brain tumor. My time as a lucid being is threatened. 

Time: Writing a poem

Another thing I do regularly, like "clockwork," is write poetry. yesterday was warm and I did some yardwork, and resting on a rock in the yard, I stopped to write a poem.

I'm about to trespass. I have no idea why I can't go in there. All I do is walk.

Because I walk every day, I'm always looking for new places to walk.

I was interested in the tiles and the lack thereof.

Vandals have desecrated the old sauna on the abandoned estate.

Sara stopped by this morning at about 10:30 AM and I ended up spending 9 hours with her.

I had to walk in my own neighborhood tonight. 

Time: Taking out the trash

Time: Taking out the trash. There are daily events and weekly events. Every Wednesday night, I take out the trash--a time Marker, a steady metronome marking passing weeks.

Today it was SNOWING and windy and cold. This was when I was back after walking.
